Meet Chip, a lovable, goofy boy with a heart of gold who’s ready to find his forever home!

Chip may not have had the best start in life, but you’d never know it. He’s full of love, trust and that beautifully chaotic “big softie” energy that makes everyone fall for him instantly.

PERFECT HOME
Chip thrives when he has space to stretch his legs and a purpose to focus on. A rural or semi rural home would suit him perfectly, giving him the freedom to run, explore and just be his happiest self.

***He’s not suited to apartment living and will need an environment where he can get plenty of physical exercise alongside daily mental stimulation.***

Chip would do best with an owner who understands working or active breeds and is committed to ongoing training. He absolutely loves having a “job” to do and will flourish in a home that can work with him consistently and give him clear structure.

ABOUT
This sweet boy is an absolute cuddle bug. His favourite cuddle is currently a trust fall where he will just fall backwards into your lap expecting to be caught for belly scratches.

Chip loves being outdoors and comes alive when he has space to play and run. He’s playful, social and has a hilarious goofy side that shines through when he’s happy. Especially when he’s in the middle of a wrestle or zoomie session.

He’s a big fan of tug games and loves for a bit of rough and tumble play. Once he’s burned off that energy he’s more than happy to switch gears and soak up all the affection he can get.

TRAINING
Chip is a clever boy who genuinely loves learning and engaging with his people. He already knows a range of tricks (some lured) including sit, down, shake, leave it, spin and jump. He’s also currently leaving some scent work skills and is en route to being able to search for his foster carers keys. As he’s keen to keep adding more to his repertoire!

He is crate trained, toilet trained and has excellent door boundaries showing how well he can adapt with the right guidance and consistency.

Chip will thrive with continued training and someone who enjoys working their dog regularly.

With the right home, Chip is going to be an incredibly loyal, fun loving and affectionate companion. If you’re after a smart, goofy dog who will make you laugh, keep you active and then crash into your lap for cuddles, Chip might be your perfect match.
