Meet Toby 🐾 🐾

Toby is a scruffy little Jack Russell X who has turned 10 on 21st March, and honestly, he’s aging like fine wine. At just 8kg, he’s the perfect compact companion - small enough to scoot into any cosy spot, but sturdy enough to enjoy proper walks and outings.

Toby has lived with older people his whole life, but is currently thriving in a family home with 6 and 9 year old children, showing just how adaptable and gentle he is. He’s very comfortable in the home and loves being part of the household routine - ideally with his humans around more often than not. He’s the type who’ll happily nap beside you all day, just keeping you company.

On the lead, Toby is fantastic and he’s also dog‑social, making walks a pleasure. While he could live happily as a solo dog (and seems perfectly content that way), he could also suit a calm doggy sibling.

A small note - Toby does like to try his luck if a door is left open, but he’s so friendly that he’s easily caught and, with a bit of gentle convincing, will come back anyway. He wouldn’t be suited to a home with cats or chickens, as his terrier instincts are still very much alive.

Mostly though, Toby is a low‑maintenance, affectionate companion who enjoys his walks but really treasures his downtime - preferably napping right by your side. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow with a big heart, Toby might just be your guy.
