About Georgie
Meet GEORGIE a girl who just wants a job. Shes not one for snuggles or politeness, she just wants to do what cats do best. Catch critters, hang around and use the litter tray if that’s what is expected.
She is extremely terrified of new people. Georgie would be best suited as a working cat, where she can go about her duties catching critters. At first she will need to be kept in an enclosed environment for at least a month, possibly more if able to, so she is aware of where she is fed and stays in her safe space. Possibly a small enclosure in the barn where she is expected to be or setting up dog crates connected together for a cheaper alternative. She will need someone who will understand her cat boundaries when getting to know her and not to expect too much. Until she is settled she should hang around, be fed and go about her daily job.
She did once live in a home where her owner did tame and pat her. We are not certain she will do this again, however with time and patience there is a possibility.
She arrived with her sister Meg. If adopted together a discount of $150 for both.
