Introducing the stunner that is Yonkers! A sweet, gentle boy, Yonkers turns heads and attracts attention everywhere he goes. As he's young, he still has some growing to do and is already a tall, leggy boy.

Yonkers is a typical pup – he’s still working on his manners and toilet training but he’s learning. He loves to play, romp with his foster sister and brother and nap wherever his people are. He’s mostly a quiet boy who just likes to check out what’s going on and hang out.

Yonkers lives with a very opinionated cat that he would love to be besties with, she however is not a fan of puppy kisses and noses in her face. He is learning to respect her space and listens when she tells him to back off. Yonkers walks beautifully on a harness and likes to amble slowly down the street checking everything and everyone out.

Yonkers is looking for a home with people who are home more often than not and are prepared to continue working with him on manners and training. Yonkers is a social pup so a doggy friend for him would be nice, however he’s equally happy to be with his people so it’s not essential.

Yonkers sleeps happily in his crate at night (but would much rather sleep on the bed please). He’s keen to please his people and has already mastered sit and wait. He’s food oriented and will do anything for a snack making him easily trainable.

If you are looking for a big friendly gentle goofball, who is possibly part horse, then Yonkers is your boy.
