Yarra is a 12-week-old gentle soul with a calm, curious nature and a heart full of quiet affection. Sheâs the kind of kitten who doesnât rush into lifeâshe observes it, takes it in, and slowly finds her place right beside you.
A true quiet observer, Yarra loves to keep an eye on what her humans are doing, always nearby but never overwhelming. She enjoys exploring at her own soft, steady pace and finds comfort in simply being close to her people or other friendly cats.
Sheâs especially fond of companionshipâwhether thatâs snuggling up with another cat on the couch or curling into a warm lap for cuddle time. If you pick her up, she settles in easily, happily enjoying the view from your arms as sheâs carried around to âsuperviseâ the day đŸ

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family memberâs health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
