About Ash STA014017
Ash is a truly stunning boy with a beautiful, soft coat that turns heads—but it’s his quiet, gentle nature that will really capture your heart.
When Ash first came to us as a very scared stray, the world felt like a big and overwhelming place. Since then, he’s been in a calm, loving foster home where he’s had the chance to slowly discover that people can be kind, safe, and comforting.
Ash is still a sensitive soul and will need a very patient, quiet home where he can continue to blossom at his own pace. He will take some time to settle in, but once he feels safe, his affectionate side begins to shine. He enjoys gentle attention and, when fully relaxed, loves nothing more than stretching out across a warm lap or bed for a peaceful snooze.
Because loud or sudden noises frighten him, Ash is best suited to an adult-only home without children or dogs. A calm environment will help him feel secure and allow his sweet personality to keep emerging.
As the days go by, Ash continues to show more curiosity about the world around him—a lovely sign of the confident boy he’s becoming. With understanding, patience, and lots of love, Ash will reward his new family with quiet companionship and heartfelt trust.
Ash is FIV+ he must be indoor only.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
