About Mia
🐾 MIA
Hi, I’m Mia 💛 I’m a 2-year-old Great Dane x Kelpie, and I’m a very loving and loveable girl. I adore my people and being part of their everyday life — whether that’s heading out for a walk or just stretching out in the sun for a good nap.
I’m a happy girl and enjoy life’s simple pleasures. I’m calm and gentle at home, very affectionate, and I form strong bonds with my humans.
I’m also clever and well-mannered. I’m house-trained, live with another dog and have had lovely, calm interactions with other dogs on my walks.
I’m about 30 kgs of long legs and love — not quite Great Dane, not quite Kelpie… maybe a “Great Kelpie” or a budget-sized Dane!
🏡 My story
I’ve been much loved, and this is a very hard goodbye for my family. With little children now part of the home, I’ve found it difficult to adjust to my new place in the family.
Because of that, I’m looking for a home where I can feel relaxed and secure - and I don’t have to compete with toddlers for attention.
🐾 My ideal home
I’d love a home where:
✓ I can be part of the family
✓ I can enjoy my walks and then relax nearby
✓ I get plenty of love and companionship
✓ Ideally I have a canine mate
I would be best suited to a home with adults or older, dog-savvy children.
🐾 A few things to know about me
✓ Very affectionate and people-focused
✓ Calm and docile at home
✓ Dog-friendly
✓ House-trained and clever
But…
⚠️ Not suited to homes with young children, poultry or birds - and I’ve had no exposure to cats.
I have been a much-loved girl, and my family’s greatest wish is for me to find a home where I can truly thrive again.
