About Sundae
Being abandoned by your owner is something no pigeon expects, but unfortunately was a reality for Sundae! After their wings were clipped to stop flying home and defending themself, Sundae was left all alone, and when their owners were contacted, they were uninterested in picking them up.
Thanks to a lot of kind people who helped Sundae out, from the folks who held him whilst we found a carer, the collection and transport, and of course the lucky carers who were able to foster, they were safe and sound at last!!
Sundae is now looking to start the next chapter of their life and go a forever home. Sundae would be okay as a single companion pigeon with someone who will take the time to show them that people are really cool and not all hopeless. But they’d also suit outdoors in an aviary with minor accomodations to account for their compromised flying abilities whilst their clipped feathers moult out.
We are unsure on Sundae’s gender at the moment but a DNA test can be completed for a small fee.
Medical notes
Clipped wings - will need platforms / ramps to get to higher places.
