About Rocko - 2 Year Old Kelpie X Border Collie
š¾ Meet Rocko ā 2 year old, 20 kg male Kelpie x Border Collie
Rocko is a happy, energetic and loyal boy who absolutely thrives in the great outdoors. At just 2 years old and weighing around 20kgs, heās a great medium-sized companionāfull of life and always ready for his next adventure, whether itās beach trips, bushwalks, camping or exploring new places.
Heās a very social dog who loves spending time with other dogs and is well-mannered out and about, with great recall and friendly behaviour at dog parks and beaches. Rocko is house-trained and has a solid foundation of training, including sit, stay, bed and recall.
Rocko forms strong bonds with his people and loves being by your side. He would suit a home where someone is around often or where he has another dog for companionship. Being a high-energy working breed mix, he needs plenty of daily mental and physical stimulation to stay happy. Without this, he can become vocal (barking/whining) or a little restless.
Rocko is best suited to a home with older children or teenagers, as he can become overly excited and jumpy around younger kids. He is not suitable for homes with cats.
His ideal home would include a secure, fully fenced medium to large yard and an active owner who enjoys the outdoors as much as he does. With the right home, Rocko will be a fun, loving and adventurous companion.
