Tommy is a stunning champagne (dilute ginger) mackerel tabby with a huge personality to match his good looks. He’s energetic, playful, and wonderfully vocal – Tommy loves to tell his humans what he wants and when he wants it. Bursting with charm and confidence, Tommy brings joy, energy, and cuddles wherever he goes.

🗣️ Always Has an Opinion: Tommy is a true talker. Whether he’s asking for food, playtime, or cuddles, he’ll happily chat away to make sure he’s heard. Life with Tommy is never quiet and never boring.
🎾 Playtime Champion: Full of energy, Tommy loves interactive play with his humans and zooming around with his siblings. He’s cheeky, quick, and always up for the next adventure.
☀️ Sunshine Lover: Like many gingers, Tommy adores sunny spots. Stretching out in a warm patch of sunlight indoors is one of his favourite ways to relax between play sessions.
💖 Purr Machine Activated: As soon as you start patting him, Tommy’s little engine starts up! He has a gorgeous, strong purr and enjoys cuddles, laps, and snuggling up with both his humans and his siblings.
🏠 Tommy’s Perfect Match
Tommy is looking for a home that will embrace his big personality and loving nature.
· Better Together: Tommy would love to be adopted with one of his siblings: Poppy, Abby, Paddy, Aiden, or Finn. Whether he’s playing or cuddling, he’s happiest when he has company. Tommy has shared her foster house with other cats of all ages but greatly prefers the company of his siblings to his foster fur-family 🐾🐾
· Engaged Humans: A home that enjoys interaction, conversation, and playtime will suit Tommy perfectly.
· Play, Sun, Snuggle, Repeat: Toys, sunny windows, cuddles, and attention are all essentials for this special boy.
· Indoors Only: Due to his fair features, Tommy will need to be strictly indoors only to keep him safe and healthy (but he’ll never say no to a sunny window spot!).

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
