About Milo
Handsome Milo is in the capable hands of David Holbrook Vet Centre today. (9/4/26)
He’ll undergo a FHO, removal of his hip joint. Recovery will need lots of strength building exercise to help establish strong muscle to replace his joint.
Milo has the most beautiful nature. He can be exuberant in playing with others but there’s not a smidge of cranky in him. He’s just a sweetheart. Loves playing with a ball.
Ideally Milo now needs a home to spend his recovery time in - crate rest not necessary. He is available for adoption to a home that loves lots of walks, a place for him to free range safely and provide hill walks to encourage strength training over the next 6 months - a hiking companion perhaps.
Great with other dogs and may suit a cat home (but not tested)

Please note a face to face meet and greet at the rescue (located in Bethungra NSW) is compulsory, we do not and will not transport any of our dogs.
Meet and greets with other dogs within the house is also compulsory
Adopt-on-the-day may be available under certain circumstances
The home check may be required
