About Georgie
Meet Georgie -- Little Sweet, Smart Gentleman! <3
Microchip Number: 900164002393859
DOB: 1/12/25
Gender: Male
Colour: Tuxedo
Breed: DSH
Foster Address Suburb: Woolloomooloo
Personality & Backstory:
Georgie was found with his siblings and mum living on the streets near bushland in a busy residential area. When he and his family were found, we knew that Georgie was the gentleman of the group, even though he was very timid.
Gentleman Georgie has impressive stature and deportment. He loves some playtime with his siblings, loves his toys and in particular his cat TV! He shows signs of being an intelligent cat, and has a sweet, non-aggressive nature.
Georgie is one of the more shy kittens in his family, but is coming out of his shell in foster care! He took quickly to sleeping on his foster carer’s bed (gravitating to the fake fur!) and is increasingly at ease with his foster carers. He is wary of strangers: he will need a loving home and a bit of patience so he feels safe and can trust again!
Georgie’s favourite things:
• Toys and playtime
• Food - but always allows the others to eat!
• Gentle pats and snuggles
• Sun naps in the cat tower ☀️
• Gentle pats

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
