Hi, I’m Poppy!

I’m a bubbly 10mo Border Collie x Kelpie with a BIG heart and an even bigger love for… well, everyone! Seriously, I’m pretty sure every person I meet is my new best friend, and I’ve got plenty of love to give.

I’m a super smart girl (if I do say so myself). I learned “sit” in just one day, and I’m doing really well with my recall training. I’m still learning the extras, but I’m eager to please and LOVE training, especially if it means making you happy!

I’m already crate trained and toilet trained (go me!), so I’ve got a great head start on being the best housemate ever.

I like other dogs and enjoy playing, and I’d actually LOVE a doggy sibling in my new home! Sometimes I can be a little unsure when we I first meet new dogs, first impressions are hard, okay? Once I warm up, I’m all about the fun. Having another confident dog around would really help me shine.

I also adore kids, but I’m still learning my manners and social cues, so I’ll need a bit of guidance to be my best, polite self.

I’ve met a cat in my foster home and I’m still learning that she doesn’t want to play with me (her loss, I know!). The good news is I’m really good at listening, when she tells me off, I give her space and go about my day like a good girl.

My dream home is an active family who will take me on adventures, keep my brain busy with training, and give me lots of love (I promise to return it tenfold). I’ve got lots of energy and so much potential, I just need someone to help me shine!
