About Sid and Nancy
Meet Sid & Nancy – A Bonded Pair Looking for Their Forever Couch
Named after the iconic Sid and Nancy, this adorable duo of cream Chihuahuas are just as unforgettable — but far sweeter and much easier to live with 💛
At 6 years old, Sid (male) and Nancy (female) are the definition of low-maintenance companions. These two are happiest living a quiet, cozy life — think long naps during the day and curling up beside you on the couch in the evening while you watch TV.
Sid is blind, but don’t let that fool you — he’s an incredibly clever little boy who maps out his surroundings quickly and moves around with confidence. He responds to gentle cues to help him navigate steps or obstacles, and once he knows a space, he’s completely at ease. He’s a total cuddle bug who just wants to be by your side, soaking up affection.
Nancy is a little more reserved at first and takes some time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she becomes one of the most loyal and loving companions you could ask for. She forms a deep bond with her people and will be your quiet little shadow.
These two are very relaxed and not particularly active. Sid isn’t much of a walker due to his blindness, but Nancy enjoys short strolls — especially when Sid gets to come along in the pram (which they both absolutely love!). They also adore car rides and are fantastic travel buddies — camping trips included. Just show them the carry bag and they’ll happily hop in, ready for their next adventure.
They are fully toilet trained and will politely wait by the door to let you know when they need to go out. They are generally very quiet dogs, only barking occasionally at the door or nearby noises.
Sid and Nancy are not suited to homes with young children, as they prefer a calm, predictable environment without loud noises or sudden movements. They’re also not fans of other dogs, though they may tolerate a very calm, older dog who respects their space. Ideally, they’d love to be your one and only.
If you’re looking for a pair of loving, easygoing companions who will fill your home with warmth (and happily share your couch), Sid and Nancy might just be your perfect match.
Medical notes
Medical notes for Sid and Nancy
Six year old bonded pair Sid and Nancy are both desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations, as well as flea, tick, heart worm and intestinal worm prevention.
Sid is blind, but he doesn’t need any medical eye care as his condition does not cause him any discomfort.
Nancy recently had a dental with a few extractions. As with all chihuahuas a regular dental check is recommended.
Nancy also has some mild patella luxation (grade 1 bilaterally) that needs to be monitored as she ages. It may not get worse, but luxating patella’s are a common ailment with the chihuahua breed.
