Meet Storm, an adorable and loving Stunning Husky who loves being the center of attention. This affectionate girl has a charming way of expressing her need for love, often by gently nudging you for cuddles or a friendly pat. Her sweet nature brings joy and warmth to any home she enters.
Storm has a particular love for balls of all sizes and enjoys runs at the park. Whether she’s chasing a ball or simply enjoying a good sprint, she’s always ready for fun and exercise.
Her playful energy is contagious, and she never tires of a game of fetch
Storm is a social butterfly who thrives on human interaction. She loves being the center of attention and eagerly seeks belly rubs and pats from anyone willing to oblige.
Her friendly demeanor makes her a favorite with everyone she meets, and she has a knack for making people feel special and loved.
She can at times jump up for attention but can be easily redirected to all 4 paws on the ground
Storm is currently living with older kids and loves a dose of her daily belly rubs
Storm is well-behaved and toilet trained, making her a pleasant companion at home.
She responds well to basic commands like sit and shake, showcasing her intelligence and eagerness to learn.
She gets excited as soon as she sees her leash
However, she can be a bit enthusiastic on the leash during walks, sometimes pulling with excitement.
She can put a bit on a collar so we have transitioned her to a slip lead which we have found works really well with her for her walks.
Storm is a social girl who loves making friends with other dogs. She has a playful nature and enjoys engaging in games with her canine companions.
We never suggest dog parks for dogs but if you have some calm friendly dogs to interact with she would love that.
Although she has lived with another dog before, she can be a bit bossy, preferring to be the top dog.
She is happiest as the sole pet in the household, where she can enjoy all the attention.
Storm has previously lived with cats and should be okay with dog -savvy cats .
While Storm enjoys being the center of attention, she is also quite independent and content to entertain herself when needed. She balances enjoying her alone time with seeking companionship, making her a versatile and adaptable pet. Storm currently spends her time outside spending lazy days on the covered deck

Storm is generally well-behaved indoors, though she can get a bit too excited at times, leading to some zoomies.
Her enthusiasm sometimes makes her forget her size, but her joyful spirit is always endearing. She is a polite house guess

As a husky, Storm requires regular brushing to maintain her coat. Her grooming routine is simple, and she enjoys the attention and care that comes with being brushed.
As a Husky she will require a professional deshedding done
Spring / Summer
Storm is flexible with her sleeping arrangements. She is comfortable sleeping in her dog kennel/ bed outside or inside the home on her dog bed in a crate ( according to previous owners) Her adaptability makes her easy to accommodate in various living situations.
Storm is accustomed to car travel and handles it well. She is usually clipped into a harness for safety during car rides and remains calm and composed throughout the journey.
Storm enjoys running, chasing balls, or playing with other dogs in open areas. Regular exercise is essential for her well-being, and she thrives in environments where she can stretch her legs and burn off energy.
She likes to chase birds and enjoys being off-leash for a run, but needs to be in a fully fenced area.
Her recall needs more work especially around distractions as she truly is a social butterfly lol

Ideal Home

Storm would thrive in a home with a spacious backyard where she can enjoy both indoor and outdoor living.
She will be rehomed as an only dog, as she likes to be the center of attention.
A home with previous breed experience is favourable
Her ideal home is one where she can be an integral part of the family, sharing in the joys of life with her human companions. No apartment living will be considered
