Hi, I’m Quenda. I might hang back for a second when I first meet you… just a quick vibe check. You know how it is.

Nature
I’m a little on the shy side, but not for long. Once I realise you’re nice (and preferably holding food), I warm up pretty quickly. Give me a bit of patience and a gentle approach, and you’ll see me come out of my shell in no time.

I’ve been learning that humans are actually quite lovely, especially the ones who give soft pats and don’t rush me. That’s my favourite kind of attention! The calm, gentle scratches where I can lean in, relax, and enjoy it without feeling overwhelmed.

Food definitely speeds things up. You bring snacks, I bring confidence. It’s a very fair arrangement.

I’m curious, sweet, and quietly affectionate once I settle in. Not over-the-top chaos, not total hiding either, just a nice in-between where I’ll come to you, hang out nearby, and happily soak up attention on my terms.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I would be best suited to a quiet home without super young kids. Calm, gentle ones who will give me some space whilst I first settle in would be ok.

I would love a friendly cat companion in my new home, as I wouldn’t suit being a solo cat.
I would be fine with dogs, but will need slow introductions.

Likes / Dislikes
✅I love food — it’s the way to my heart.

❌I dislike sudden movements and loud noises.

My PURR-fect home would include a cat friend, a calm indoor environment, and loving humans who will give me time to settle and then spoil me with love.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to apply to adopt Quenda please come and meet her at PETStock Baldivis this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. She will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.

*Quenda’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment.

Medical Notes: Quenda was found to have a small leftover ligament from birth during her desexing procedure. It is closed and unlikely to cause any problems, however she will need to be monitored for any irritation or swelling around the belly button area in future.

🐾Perth Rescue Angels recommends Advantage and Advocate from Elanco Animal Health for all of your new furry family members’ flea and worming needs.
