About Mia
Meet Mia 🩶 - A Companion Worth Winning Over
Mia is a beautiful adult grey cat with a thoughtful, independent nature and a heart that's absolutely worth the effort. She's not one to rush into relationships-Mia prefers that her humans earn her trust first. But don't worry: with a little patience, some gentle pats, and her favourite treats, she'll quickly show you just how special she is.
Once you've won Mia over, she transforms into the perfect little companion. Affectionate, loyal, and quietly devoted, she has a wonderful way of sticking close and making sure you're never truly alone. Whether she's curling up nearby, following you from room to room, or reminding you it's time for another pat, Mia thrives on the bond she builds with her person.
Mia would suit a home that appreciates a cat with a bit of character-someone who understands that the most meaningful connections are sometimes the ones you work for. If you're looking for a companion who will choose you, and love you deeply once she does, Mia might just be your perfect match. 🐾🩶

Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal. Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
