About Skittles
Meet Skittles! Just as sweet as her namesake, this young black-and-white kitty is looking for a loving, patient home where she can truly shine.
Skittles can be a little nervous when first settling into a new environment, but this is simply because everything feels unfamiliar to her. With gentle reassurance, a calm space, and plenty of positive interactions, she will gradually build confidence and begin to show her beautiful, affectionate personality. Once she feels safe, Skittles enjoys chin scratches, soft pats, and curling up on a warm lap for a quiet cuddle.
She would be best suited to a home with adults, although she may also do well with cat-savvy teenagers who understand the importance of giving her time and space to adjust at her own pace. Skittles is a lovely companion who will reward patience with trust, affection, and plenty of sweet moments once she feels secure and at ease.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
