Lumi may be the smallest of the litter, but she has a big personality. While she can be a little shy and timid at first and does scare easily, once she gets to know you she becomes incredibly loving and affectionate. 💛
A tough little girl with a playful streak, she loves wrestling, zooming around, and being close to her humans. She recognises her foster carer’s voice and comes when called, which is incredibly sweet.
Lumi adores the resident dog, Charlie, and is social with other cats and people once she feels comfortable. She has a soft spot for anything small and plush and loves carrying her teddy bears around, proudly leaving them in your bed after racing through the house with them. Hand-raised from a tiny orphan, Lumi is full of personality and will truly shine in a patient, loving home. 🧸✨
With time, patience, and gentle introductions, Lumi would thrive in most environments suited to an energetic kitten.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
