About Bear - 5 Year Old Ridgeback
Meet Bear 🤎
Beautiful Bear is an almost 5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback with the sweetest, most gentle nature. He absolutely loves people, gets along well with other dogs, and just wants to be close to his humans.
Bear is looking for a calm, loving home where someone is around most of the time. He thrives on companionship and feels safest when he’s not left alone for long periods.
He does experience anxiety, which we’ve been managing in foster care, and he’s already made such positive progress. With the right environment and a patient, understanding owner, Bear will continue to grow into the most loyal and loving companion.
Bear is not tested with cats and kids over 12 would suit him best.
He would love a home that can offer:
• Plenty of time and companionship
• A calm, stable environment
• Ongoing support with his anxiety
In return, you won’t just get a dog you’ll get a soulmate. He’s the most affectionate, gentle soul who just wants to love and be loved.

Bear’s adoption fee is $300. He is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and intestinal worms. Bear is in foster care in Tarro, and is available for adoption within New South Wales, no flights.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
