Rudy is a gorgeous 9āweekāold Kelpie X puppy with a big personality packed into a little body. This special little nugget is already stealing hearts everywhere he goes and once you see his tiny smile, youāll understand why.
Rudy loves puppyccinos, treats and is highly foodāmotivated, which is helping him smash his early training. Heās already toilet trained, learning to sit, stay and shake, and is eager to keep learning with someone who enjoys training and engaging clever pups.
When heās not working on his manners, Rudy is all about playtime ā toys, tugāofāwar, and fullāspeed zoomies are his absolute favourites. As a true Kelpie mix, heās a highāenergy pup who will thrive with an active family that enjoys getting out and about.
Despite the energy, Rudy also has a beautiful soft side. He absolutely adores constant contact, especially cuddles, and would happily sleep snuggled up with you every night. Bonus points, he already sleeps through the night like a champ!
Rudy is incredibly social and confident. He loves:
- Other dogs
- Cats
- People of all sizes
Heās happiest when heās out meeting new friends, wagging his tail, charming strangers, and soaking up attention. His cheeky personality is starting to shine through, and heās just beginning to find his voice too!

Rudy would suit an active household that can keep both his body and brain busy. Due to his energy and puppy enthusiasm, heās best suited to a family with children aged 8+.

Rudyās adoption fee is $800 which includes desexing when he is old enough. He has been vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms, and is microchipped.
Rudy is in foster care in Fullerton Cove, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing by 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
