About Loopy
✨ Meet Loopy ✨
Say hello to Loopy-a confident young cat with a big personality and an even bigger love for people!
Loopy is the kind of cat who makes her presence known in the best possible way. Bold, curious, and full of charm, she walks into a room like she owns it (and honestly, she might just win you over enough to make that true). She absolutely adores human attention and will happily soak up every pat, cuddle, and moment of affection you can give.
But be warned-Loopy doesn't believe in "too much" love. Just when you think she's had enough, she'll come right back for more! She's the ultimate companion cat, always circling back to you, checking in, and making sure she's never too far from her favorite humans. If it were up to her, you'd never leave the house-and she'd be perfectly content being the center of your world.
Loopy's confident and affectionate nature makes her a wonderful fit for someone looking for a constant, loving presence. She's not shy, not reserved-just endlessly devoted, playful, and ready to be adored.
If you're after a cat who will love you loudly, follow you faithfully, and keep your heart very full, Loopy is ready to claim her spot in your life (and on your lap).
One meeting, and you'll be completely wrapped around her paw. 💛
To book a meet and greet with Loopy, please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au .
Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
