About Dolly
Meet Dolly, an adorable female Dachshund brimming with charm and personality. Born in May 2022, this petite sweetheart weighs just 4kg and is looking for a new family to shower with affection.
While not yet lead trained, she's eager to learn and would thrive with a bit of time and guidance. Regarding commands and learning new behaviors, patience and positive reinforcement are key. Dolly can be a dachshund door bell at times, letting you know someone is around
Dolly has been quite amiable with dogs her size, though she may initially seem a bit reserved until she’s comfortable. When it comes to cats, she’s yet to be tested, so gradual introductions would be essential. Timid at first, Dolly comes around quickly and reveals her truly sweet nature. You’ll find no food aggression here, just a pup ready to enjoy mealtime without a fuss.
For potential adopters, please note that we cannot make guarantees about Dolly's toilet training. With love, patience, and consistency, she will adjust well to her new routines and environments.
If you're looking for a loyal and spirited companion to complete your home with her lively Dachshund charm, Dolly is ready to be your devoted friend.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
