About Archie
Archie is a 2 year old, American Staffy x Bull Arab who loves being included in
family life. He already knows some basic commands like sit and shake and enjoys
spending time with his people.
With People: He is a friendly boy who enjoys company and being part of the action. New people and situations can sometimes feel a little overwhelming for him, so he would be best suited to a quieter, but still active home where he can settle in at his own pace.
With Other Dogs: Archie enjoys meeting other dogs and can be social with them. Positive introductions and continued guidance will help him build confidence.
Health: Archie is a young dog with plenty of energy for adventures. Our team can chat through his current health care and ongoing needs.

Adoption details
If you are interested in meeting one of the dogs available on our adoption page, please contact City of Salisbury on (08) 8406 8222 or email communitycompliance@salisbury.sa.gov.au, and complete an adoption application.
Once your application has been received, we will be in touch to discuss your application and the next steps. This includes organising a meet and greet so you and the dog can get to know one another.
If there are children or other dogs in your household, we ask that a second meet and greet be arranged. This allows for a dog-to-dog introduction and helps ensure your resident dog is also happy with your choice of companion.
Please note that some dogs may require further training and may be too energetic for families with very young children. Our team will guide you through the best options to suit you and your family and help match you with the right dog.
If everything meets your expectations, we will work with you to complete the required paperwork and payment so you can take your newest family member home.
