About Mocha
Hi, I’m Mocha.
I am a happy little girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I love people. Truly. If someone new walks through the door, I am straight over to say hello, and before long, I am curled up in their arms, having a nap like we have known each other forever.
I live with another dog and my sister, and I love them both. We play, we wrestle, we run around the house like it is our own little world. I would be very happy in a home with another dog, but I would also be just fine on my own as long as I get plenty of love and attention from my humans.
Most of my days are spent outside while my people are at work, and then it is a mix of inside and outside time when they are home. I have my comfy spots, especially the dog beds in the office, but I also enjoy a good run around the yard. I like being part of whatever is going on.
I have not met any cats or other animals yet, but I am very curious, and I think that with slow introductions, I would learn quickly. I am still young, so everything is new and interesting to me.
I love to play. Chew toys are my favourite, and I am slowly learning how fun it is to chase a ball. Sometimes I get distracted, but I am getting there. I have those bursts of energy where I run and play, and then I am just as happy to flop down and relax.
Training is going well. I am very food-motivated, which helps a lot. I already know how to sit and come when called, and I am starting to learn more. I want to please, and I am trying my best. Walking on a lead is still a work in progress. At the moment, the lead itself seems much more interesting than actually walking, but I am getting used to it.
I do have a playful, cheeky side. I can hold my own in a wrestling match, and I am not afraid to join in the fun. But I also have a very soft side. I love to be close, to be part of the family, and to feel safe and loved.
I sleep outside on my bed and have settled into a good routine. I might have had a few noisy nights at the very beginning, but I have grown out of that and now rest well after a busy day.
I am a healthy girl with no concerns, and I am growing into a strong and happy pup.

Please ensure all corresponding documentation, such as vet work for existing animals & lease agreements are provided with the completed application to avoid any delays
Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will pass your contact details onto the carer and they will liaise with you to arrange a meet & handover. Prior to the handover, an adoption contract will be emailed to you along with copies of vet work & our bank details. The signed adoption agreement & payment of the adoption fee is required prior to the animal leaving with you. We offer a two-week trial period, and the full adoption fee, minus an administration fee will be refundable if the adoption is cancelled within those two weeks.
