About Phillip
Phillip did not wait to be invited.
This handsome boy decided that if no one was going to formally offer him a home, he would simply take matters into his own paws and attempt to move himself into a house that was, technically, not his. A bold strategy. A confident strategy. A very Phillip strategy.
Now safely in our care and looking for a home that is actually his this time, Phillip has made one thing very clear: he is extremely people-oriented and fully believes your personal space is more of a vague suggestion than a real boundary.
If you are looking for a cat who will politely admire you from across the room, Phillip would like to respectfully decline. This is a boy who prefers to be all up in your business at all times. Making the bed? He's there. Trying to go to the bathroom alone? Absolutely not. Opening a cupboard? He simply must inspect it. Sitting down for five seconds? Great, he'll be requiring immediate affection and possibly access to your lap, shoulder, chest or face.
And honestly? He's lucky he's so cute.
Phillip is an incredibly affectionate, social and lovely boy who clearly adores human company. He has all the hallmarks of a cat who has decided people are excellent and should be available to him as often as possible. He is the kind of cat who doesn't just want to live with you, he wants to be thoroughly, enthusiastically and perhaps a little inappropriately involved in your day-to-day life.
When it comes to other cats, Phillip's opinion is currently somewhere between "maybe" and "I'd rather not discuss it." He isn't entirely convinced that feline housemates are necessary for his lifestyle and may be best suited to being your one and only. That said, with very slow and thoughtful introductions, he may be able to live with another cat, but his ideal setup may well be a home where he can enjoy the spotlight uninterrupted and focus fully on his career as House Supervisor / Emotional Support Pest.
Phillip is looking for a home that will appreciate his confidence, adore his clingy little ways, and understand that privacy is simply not something he believes in.
He came into this world ready to insert himself where he was not asked, and now he's just looking for the right home where that energy will finally be appreciated.
And truly, if you've ever wanted a cat who behaves like an overfamiliar houseguest who never leaves, Phillip may just be your dream man.
