About Oscar & Tango
Meet Oscar and Tango, a pair of princes who encapsulate the Cavalier breed’s most desirable characteristics — they are incredibly gentle, affectionate, and intelligent. The boys were reluctantly surrendered due to a change in circumstances and their beautiful natures are testament to the love and care given to them by their previous owner. In fact, their carer described them as having the best breath in the business and said she has never seen better teeth in dogs of their ages 😀 Although they love being together, they are different in some ways.
Tango, the tricoloured boy, is 4 years old loves nothing more than sitting quietly, gazing into your eyes while you give him a big cuddle. He weighs approximately 17 kilograms and he is hoping to shed a couple of kilograms now that the weather is cooler. In fact, he has started this process while in care with gentle walks which increase in distance. They are both quite low energy dogs.
Oscar, who is slightly more adventurous, will happily chase a ball if thrown for him while you pet his brother, then bring it back with perfect manners. He is the smaller of the two and weighs approximately 11 kilograms.
Both boys enjoy short walks or exploring the garden together. They are fully house trained but can also live happily as indoor/outdoor dogs. After short bursts of play or a walk, they are content to settle down and quietly rest. Tango and Oscar are also wonderfully patient when being gently bathed and groomed — a pleasure for everyone involved. They will require regular grooming but are very accommodating to getting this done. Oscar has quite sensitive skin so will generally need a special shampoo but this condition is not a major concern.
This sweet pair has the potential to bring joy and companionship to a home with residents who require well-behaved, gentle and loving companion dogs.
