Say hello to our resident gentle giant Marli!

Marli is an absolute sweetheart who has already been through far more than any young dog should, and now she is looking for what she has always deserved, a calm, loving home where she can finally exhale.

Marli has come from an incredibly tough home situation, and while she has so much love to give, she is a very sensitive girl who needs a family that understands just how important safety and kindness are to her. Loud voices, yelling, harsh handling and aggressive tones are deeply frightening for Marli, and because of her history, she will need an exceptionally calm household where positive reinforcement, patience and gentle guidance are non-negotiable.

Despite everything she has been through, Marli remains a truly lovely dog. She is affectionate, sweet-natured and has such a tender way about her that makes it impossible not to fall for her. She is the kind of dog who just wants to feel safe, loved and included, and once she knows she can trust you, she has all the makings of an incredibly loyal and devoted companion.

Marli is looking for a single-dog household, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. She has been through enough and is ready to be someone's whole world. As her family must take the slow approach she will need to go to an adults only home who can understand what this special lady needs.

Marli is not looking for perfection. She is looking for peace. She is looking for someone who will see her for the beautiful, sensitive, loving girl she is and give her the chance to finally feel safe in the world.
