Hello there, I’m Nigel,
A few months ago, if you wanted to find me, you'd have to look behind the couch.
Now, if you want to find me, check your lap. Or your bed. Or your dinner plate.
When I was first rescued, I was absolutely terrified. Being touched felt scary, cuddles felt even scarier and I spent most of my days hiding from the world.
Any attempt at a cuddle made me think I was fighting for my life.
But then I started to realise something.
Pats felt really good. Scritches felt even better. And cuddles? Well, cuddles were the best thing ever.
These days, I can't get enough of any of them.
As I got braver, I realised I didn't have to hide anymore. I was safe. Safe enough to purr so loudly the whole house can hear me. Safe enough to hand out little kisses and love nibbles. Safe enough to curl up in your lap while you work, sleep beside you at night and follow you around the house chattering away about my day.
I realised other animals were friends not foes. Now I give even the grumpest cats little nose kisses and love to snuggle up with my doggy foster brother for naps.
Best of all, I realised food is pretty great. Not just cat food. All food. If you've got something on your plate, I'll be there to inspect it. Is it suitable for cats? Maybe. Is that going to stop me from checking? Absolutely not.
I've gone from a kitten who couldn't be touched to one who happily wears a little harness and accepts cuddles from complete strangers. Please try not to bring that up too often though. I have a reputation to maintain.
But honestly? Life is much better this way.
So if you're looking for a kitten who has a lot of love to make up for, I think we should meet. I'll bring the purrs if you bring the cuddles.

Adoption details
Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
