Bambino is an incredibly sweet, people-loving Staffy boy who is ready for a fresh start and a home filled with kindness and patience. When Bambino first arrived at GAWS, he was covered in dog bite wounds. Despite everything he had been through, he has healed beautifully-both physically and emotionally-and hasn't let his past dull his gentle nature. Initially shy and unsure, Bambino has slowly built trust and now shows nothing but love to the people around him. Once he knows you, Bambino bonds deeply and will quickly become your most loyal companion. Due to his past experiences, Bambino is looking for an adult-only home where he can continue to build confidence at his own pace. A calm, understanding environment will help him truly come out of his shell and feel safe. Bambino may benefit from living with a well-matched, calm and playful female dog who can help show him the ropes and encourage him to relax and enjoy life. He has no known history with cats. As he hasn't had much experience with home life, Bambino may need some guidance when it comes to indoor and outdoor routines. He would also do best in a home where someone is around more often, as he may find being left alone for long periods a bit overwhelming. With time, patience, and love, Bambino is going to blossom into an incredibly devoted and affectionate companion.
