Rusty enjoys peaceful surroundings and would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can feel safe and understood.
Because of his sensitive nature, Rusty is looking for a cat-savvy adopter who can read his cues and give him the space he needs to settle in at his own pace. He would do best as the only pet in the home, where he can truly relax.
With time, patience, and a little love, Rusty will reward you with quiet companionship and a bond that's deeply special.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
