Jackie is a quiet, observant household guest. She is gentle, and sweet natured, especially towards her three kittens (who have all grown to roughly ¾ of the size of her now). By now, she is definitely ready to leave motherhood behind and be someone's baby for a change.
She has grown in confidence since arriving in care, joining in on playtime with the laser pointer and hanging out in social spaces. She is still a little nervous about being approached, but she is usually pretty content with pats once she understands what you're doing.
This sweet girl would continue to blossom with someone who doesn't mind a bit of a slow burn, and understands good things take time. She does love a treat in the evenings, so that's a good place to start building trust!
If you'd like to meet her, please submit an application (see below) – the more information you can provide about your household, lifestyle and history with cats, the better 🤗
‼️ As with most cats in a new environment or with new people, she will be shy at first, but give her some time and treats and she's sure to come around.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
If interested in a cat that is available for adoption, we require you to fill out an adoption application, and one of our lovely foster carers will give you a call to organise a time for a meet and greet.
Please note: As we are all volunteers with limited time up our sleeves, we prefer all interested potential adopters to fill out an application, rather than send an enquiry, as this helps us know more about you and what you are after, and saves us all a lot of time!
Apply here for a cat or kitten: https://form.jotform.com/sugarandspicecatrescue/cat-adoption-questionnaire
If forms aren't for you though, please SMS us (the number is in the link) and we can call to go through the form over the phone.
