Meet Zeus — a big, bouncy bundle of fluff looking for his forever home!

Zeus is already weighing in at 19kg, he’s going to grow into a large, impressive dog-so he’ll need a home ready for his size, energy, and enthusiasm.

Zeus is an active boy who absolutely loves water, whether it’s splashing in the shell pool or putting his entire face and paws in his water bowl, he’s always wet!

Zeus is crate trained and settling well into his carers routine, and his toilet training is coming along nicely. He has been sleeping inside at night and is happy outside all day whilst his carer is at work.

Zeus is learning to walk on lead and if he’s by himself, he is great, when walking with another dog, all training goes out the window.

Given his size, It’s easy to forget Zeus is still a puppy. He is still working on his manners and can be a bit mouthy and is definitely a licker—he shows his affection with his whole face!

Zeus loves to dig holes, chew sticks and anything else he can find. He gathers all the treasures he’s found, toys, sticks, branches off your plants etc, and puts them in his favourite spot on the lawn, for safe keeping-so he’ll need a family who is able to provide him with plenty of environmental enrichment and mental stimulation.

Zeus gets along well with other dogs and is also good with cats. However, he can become overstimulated when with other dogs and tends to be a bit silly, at times rude, and noisy. This is something he’ll need continued training for, to help him stay calm and focused when around other dogs.

With his mix of breeds comes a coat that will require regular grooming to keep him comfortable and prevent matting, so his new family should be prepared for that commitment and be comfortable with a lot of brushing.

Zeus is looking for a home that can provide him with plenty of exercise, include him in their lives, take him on adventures, provide him ongoing training and of course, lots of love. In return, you’ll get a loyal, fun-loving companion who with ongoing training, will grow into an amazing dog.
