Charlie

Charlie is extremely loving 🥰

Loves to play in the back yard will throw and retrieve his toy plastic pig.

Brings it to you every time. His little pig is like his "security blanket".

When at home he wants to be near you and tends to lay near your feet while you watch TV or sit out on the patio.

At night he sleeps initially on the floor - anywhere in the house and eventually puts himself into his dog bed - inside.

Sleeps happily alone at night when all bedroom doors are closed. Has never tried to jump on our bed.

Welcomes people into the house and wants constant contact... loves/pats.

He likes to have a rough n tumble play and would suit family with older children >10.

Very motivated by food and will eat most things that may fall off the kitchen bench.... cucumber, carrot. Enjoys the Mr Whippy cup when they come down our street. Loves cheese and responds to the sound of just opening the wrapping.

Majority of time he is inside but ok outside and makes himself comfortable on our outside lounge...the sleepy Labrador in him. Potential to be a couch potato...haha.

Will not initiate barking through neighbouring fences to other dogs unless he smells them or hears them or they bark first.

Will sit next to you and be patted for ages. He lifts the paw and prompts you to keep patting if you stop.

Very excited to see you when you come home, whether it's been 5 mins or 5 hours.

Loves a walk but doesn't do more than 20-30mins as tires.

Beautiful to walk on lead and understands walking at side, wait when comes to a road crossing.

He happily goes out the front door and sniffs around our front yard without running away. He comes when called.

A very easy and chilled home body who will smother you with love.

Occasionally wants to attempt climbing on you for cuddles.
Does not climb on indoor furniture.

Obedient, cuddly.

His body clock well in tune as from 5pm onwards he's nudging you...dinner please!
Eats well via a licky mat for his dinner and again the lazy Labrador .. he has a habit of laying down toward the end of the food as this licking thing is hard work! Hahaha. Character he is!

Very very very loving and great company.
