About Poppy
Meet Poppy, a gentle, sweet-natured girl who is ready to find a loving home to call her own. Despite having just three legs, she is resilient and has adapted wonderfully to her changing mobility.
Poppy can be a little nervous when first settling into new environments, but with patience and a calm, gentle approach she soon relaxes and begins to show her affectionate side. Once she feels safe, she forms strong bonds with her people and loves soft scratches and close companionship.
Poppy would best suit a calm, predictable household with teens or adults. She would prefer to be the only dog in the home so she can soak up all the love and attention.
With her gentle heart and loyal nature, Poppy will make a deeply devoted companion for someone willing to give her the time and care she needs 💛
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
