About Patches
*update 24/08*
patches has had quite a bit of interest, but his owner feels that he would be best suited to a farm or semi rural property where he has lots of space to run around, rather than a suburban block. Patches is a very smart boy who thrives on having a task to do and could potentially be trained as a working dog. --------------------------------
the owner of this gorgeous boy has made the very difficult decision to seek a new home for him because of complaints made by her neighbour resulting in the council threatening to seize poor patches. The complaints made have been in relation to patches barking at another neighbouring dog that teases him through the fence and heavy construction going on in the street bringing lots of trucks and other unfamiliar sounds. Patches is really a wonderful boy with good basic training and a lovely nature. He is toilet trained and sleeps inside at night. Patches is good with most other dogs, good with cats (currently living with 2) and ignores the ducks he encounters on his walks. His owner currently keeps him indoors as much as possible to avoid conflict with the neighbour, but this is untenable in the long term and she feels the best thing for patches is to find a home where he will have space to play, plenty of exercise and a family to love him. He has grown up with a young child and would make a great family pet, but is also very smart and may be suitable for a working environment. Please note that patches is still living with his owner and i am listing him on her behalf. All enquiries will be passed on for her consideration
