About Merlin
Meet Merlin! This charming older gentleman would love a cozy, indoor-only home to retire in. This loving, affectionate gentleman has a heart of gold and a crooked smile that anyone could fall in love with. He's a reliable purrer and due to his missing teeth, sometimes his purrs sound like a gargle! He is very vocal, and will let you know in no uncertain terms when he's hungry or in need of a scratch. He has different meows and chirps for different contexts and his noises will be a source of frequent laughter and constant delight.
If you're looking for a lovely older cat who will forever be your shadow, conversational companion and constant source of smooches, Merlin is the perfect fit for you!
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
