Adoption information
About Denver and Heather
Denver was adopted from our shelter in March 2023, while Heather was adopted just over a year ago in January 2025, by the same family. They have bonded very closely. Sadly, due to a break up, Denver and Heather were returned to the shelter, and are looking for a new home together.
These bunnies have been very well loved, and are used to a free range life style where they are clean and have nice manners. They've taken a while to settle back into shelter life, as they missed their home and routine. But they are ready to meet their new, forever family this time.
Denver is very outgoing and loves head rubs. He is the opal/grey bunny. Heather lets Denver take all the attention, is a quiet an undemanding bunny. She's the very pretty fawn/orange bunny. We originally met Heather after she was dumped in a box, so she has not had the best experiences at the hands of humans.
These bunnies would like a home that resembles what they just lost. Indoors, with gentle humans, that will understand they need lots of pats and reassurance in the early days. Both bunnies are desexed, and recently (February 2026) vaccinated. Their $200 adoption fee is for both.
