About Tanuki ( Kiki) - The Gentle Giant
Looking for a handsome and confident ragdoll to instantly add some love to your home? Well we have got the perfect cat for you.
Tanuki aka Kiki is sweet, affectionate, gentle and very loving. He is incredibly social and just loves being around people. Whether you're working at your desk, chilling on the couch, curled up in bed or doing chores around the house, Kiki will never be far away.
He just LOOOOOOVES people.
Kiki is also quite a confident young man who will not take long to settle into his new environment. He settled very quickly into his foster home and was ready for pats and cuddles almost the instant he stepped out of his cat carrier.
This gentle giant is one of the sweetest cats you're ever likely to meet and has the gentlest little meow that's a perfect match for his gentle nature. He's not at all noisy and will give you a soft little meow when it's time for dinner. Otherwise he's quiet, calm and an absolute pleasure to be around.
He loves his cuddles and will purr contently while you stroke him.
He has been known to very occasionally get a UTI, which is very common in big males, but his previous owners managed to prevent this from reoccurring by making sure he was well hydrated.
We would love to find him a home with a family who can give him the love and attention he truly deserves. With his calm and gentle nature he would be well suited to almost any household.

Tanuki is approximately 7 years old and has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
