About Peppa
Meet Peppa, an incredibly loving and delightful Chihuahua and Pug mix, or "Chug," as we like to say. Born on or around August 1, 2022, Peppa has taken the shelter by storm with her affectionate nature and sparkling personality. Weighing in at a sturdy 10 kg, she delivered and raised four beautiful babies, embracing her role as an excellent and attentive mother.
Peppa is a fantastic little dog who captures hearts with her zest for life and charming personality. She is a social butterfly eager to greet new friends—both human and canine, especially those her size. At the shelter, she’s shown great recall on walks, always returning at the sound of her favorite voice. This makes her a delightful companion for someone who enjoys leisurely walks with a devoted four-legged friend by their side. Peppa has not been tested with cats.
In addition to her love for the outdoors, Peppa is just as content to relax at home, either enjoying a good pat or simply sitting beside you, soaking in the affection. Her outgoing nature is infectious, and she’s sure to bring boundless joy to your home. She would thrive in an environment where she could continue to socialize and receive the devotion she so eagerly returns.
While her house-training status is uncertain, with a bit of patience and guidance, Peppa is sure to adapt quickly. In return, she offers a loyal heart full of love and a spirit that fills any day with happiness. She’s ready for a warm and loving home, and she simply can’t wait to meet her new human companion. Could that be you?

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
