About Silver, the greyhound
If you are interested in Silver, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/4YdfUixpmWdJ4StT9
Silver is gold!
He is the most beautiful golden brindle, with the personality to match. Gentle on the lead and in the way he takes treats, Silver is adapting to pet life like an absolute pro. He mastered the dog door quickly and goes through the night without needing to go outside to toilet. He travels well in the car and is a very low maintenance kind of guy who loves his people.
Happy to hang out with you while you work, clean, or sleep, Silver is your companion for any activity. He is also happy with periods of time on his own, and he loves his walks.
A gentle giant with people and other dogs, Silver has shown great tolerance to smaller breeds and is currently living with three greyhounds quite happily. Silver is looking for someone who will be committed to helping him maintain a healthy weight, take him out for daily gentle walks, love him, and include him as part of the family. A canine friend would be a bonus, but a home where someone is predominantly at home would also work well.
Silver is very happy in foster care and is enjoying spending most of his time inside the house. He also enjoys the garden for a leisurely snuffle or a sunbake on the grass while you potter around.
While Silver doesn’t look his age, he has the patience and laid-back calm that comes with a mature hound. He is a confident, friendly boy.
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.
