About Garnet
Garnet is a beautiful young man with a gentle, affectionate nature and a truly loving soul. Sweet, kind, and easy to adore, he has a calm presence about him that makes him a lovely companion to have around the home. He enjoys affection and being near his people, while still happily entertaining himself with his favourite toys.
He would suit either a single-cat household where he can soak up all the attention, or a home with other feline friends, as he has the nature to adapt well to different environments with the right introductions. Garnet especially loves chasing wiggle toys and little springs across the floor, throwing himself into playtime with enthusiasm and curiosity.
A big fan of the cat tower, he enjoys climbing up high to relax, observe his surroundings, and claim the best view in the room. He is also a massive treat lover, and snacks are definitely one of the quickest ways to win him over.
With his beautiful temperament and gentle heart, Garnet is the kind of cat who will make a wonderful addition to a loving home, bringing sweetness, warmth, and quiet companionship every day. ✨🐱

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

~The Adoption Process~
⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
