About Lloyd
Introducing our sweet Lloyd 💙
Lloyd is a gentle soul who will need a patient, understanding home willing to take things slow. When he first arrives, he may be shy and prefer to hide while he finds his feet—but give him time, and you’ll see something really special.
Once Lloyd learns to trust you, he becomes incredibly affectionate. He’ll stick to you like glue, chatting away for your attention and love. These days, he happily curls up on his carer’s lap and is the first at the door each day to say hello.
Lloyd is a beautiful reminder of what patience and kindness can achieve. His carers are so proud of how far he’s come—from a withdrawn little kitten to a loving companion who’s ready for his forever home. In the right environment, Lloyd will truly thrive.
If you have a soft spot for a kitten who just needs that extra bit of love and care, Lloyd could be your perfect match.
Please complete a pre-adoption application, and if Lloyd thinks you might be his purrfect person, one of our volunteers will be in touch to organise a meet & greet. Lloyd is currently in foster care in Emu Heights.
Best with Children Aged: 12 years +
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from our foster carers & pounds. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Pre-adoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Please note that several people may be applying for the same cat so we need time to review all applicants. We do not re-home to the first to apply, we re-home to who best suits the needs of the cat or kitten. All applications will be considered individually and approval will be at the discretion of the AWL NSW Branch Representative, with their decision being final.
