About Isla
This is Isla: part adventure buddy, part comedian, part professional cuddle expert… and 100% the kind of dog who changes your life.
If you’ve ever dreamed of a best friend who is equal parts loyal shadow, road trip co-pilot and biggest cheerleader, Isla is your girl.
Need a travel buddy? Isla is already calling shotgun, ears flapping in the breeze, nose out the window and ready for wherever the road leads.
Love pottering in the garden? Isla will happily patrol beside you, investigating every bug, stalking butterflies and making sure absolutely no leaf goes uninspected.
Want to bring a series? Perfect. Isla is an elite-level snuggle bug who will curl up beside you for every episode, every season and every “just one more episode” lie.
Isla is the dog who will make you laugh when you’ve had the worst day. The one who will sit quietly while you tell her your stories, celebrate your wins like they’re her own, and somehow make everything feel a little bit better just by being there.
Camping trips, beach days, river fishing, long hikes, farm adventures, lazy afternoons in the sun… Isla is ready for every moment and will throw herself into life right beside you.
She’s incredibly smart, eager to please and absolutely adores her people. Isla forms beautiful bonds with her humans and learns quickly – the kind of dog who looks at you like you’re her whole world. She still has a few things to learn, but with her big heart and sharp mind, she’s an absolute dream to train.
Isla has been used to life on a property and is wonderfully behaved following her people around during farm jobs. She is comfortable around horses and goats and would absolutely thrive in a home where she can be part of the action.
She gets along beautifully with other dogs, though she can sometimes need a little time to settle in. In her perfect home, she’d love a calm, friendly dog companion – someone who still enjoys a playful romp, but has left the chaos of puppyhood behind.
Little humans light up Isla's world. She loves joining in the fun, though her enthusiasm and excitement can be a little much for very young children under 5. With confident dog-savvy people and some continued guidance, she’ll only get better and better.
Isla is crate trained, house trained and has decent recall (provided there isn’t something far too exciting stealing her attention!). More than anything, she loves being with her people and would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time.
Her dream life?
A farm to explore. A caravan to jump into. A campfire to curl up beside. A family to adore.
And if you’re very lucky… that family could be yours.
