About Benjie
Benjie is a lovely 6 year old King Charles spaniel boy .
He knows “ sit , come , no , bed
He is very food oriented , so easy to train , he really wants to please his family. He doesn’t guard his food and is very friendly , he will jump up on visitors but he just wants to be stroked , he does pull on the lead at first but calms down.
He’d barks at dogs but just wants to play.
He had an elderly owner who is no longer able to care for him. He’s learning toilet training ( he’s pad trained, he lived in a unit and had little access) Foster carer takes him out hourly and praises him whenever he goes on the grass but he doesn’t like rain. There are still times he does have accidents.
He’d suit an active family with children over 8 or an active retired couple. After being in a small unit is keen to explore the world, loves going in water, chasing butterflies
He is perfect with cats, loves children and is also happy to chill after a walk. He has no separation anxiety he trusts you’ll come home.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
Providing quality information as a part of your enquiry including information about your home environment, family, work hours, other pets and what you are looking for in a companion animal along with what you can offer one will greatly assist.
Please always provide a contact phone number as a part of your enquiry.
