About King Charles
👑 Meet King Charles 👑
If you're looking for a loyal companion with a touch of royal charm, allow us to introduce King Charles-a distinguished adult British Shorthair with a heart as grand as his name.
This handsome gentleman carries himself with quiet confidence and undeniable grace. True to his regal title, King Charles enjoys the finer things in life: soft places to lounge, gentle company, and, most importantly, plenty of attention from his devoted humans.
King Charles is a deeply people-oriented cat who thrives on companionship. Wherever you are, you can expect him to be nearby-whether he's supervising your daily tasks, curling up beside you on the couch, or politely requesting a well-deserved pat. He adores affection and will happily soak up as many cuddles and chin scratches as you're willing to give.
Despite his royal demeanor, he's not aloof-in fact, quite the opposite. King Charles is warm, affectionate, and always ready to make you feel like the most important person in his kingdom. His calm and steady presence makes him a wonderful fit for a home where he can be included as part of the family.
If you're ready to welcome a charming, devoted, and ever-so-dapper companion into your life, King Charles is prepared to rule your heart.
All hail the king-your king. 👑

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
