At one and a half years old, this female Boxer cross is a professional lover with a PhD in "Velcro-dog" studies. If you’re looking for a dog who understands boundaries, keep walking—Joanie believes she is a tiny lap dog and prefers to be on top of you rather than beside you.

•     Young at Heart: She is definitely still a puppy! While she loves to chew (hide your shoes!) and loves all toys, she is extremely intelligent and highly trainable.
•     A "Personal Groomer": She is a world-class licker! She’ll happily lick your feet clean after a long day in boots, and if her fur-siblings allow it, she’ll even try to give their tonsils a thorough inspection.

Joanie is a social butterfly who would love people home more often than not. She also definitely needs a fur-sibling to be her playmate—someone who can keep up with her "play to the max" lifestyle!
Health & Training:
Joanie is desexed, vaccinated, and ready for her forever home. Because she spent far too much time in the pound, she is still mastering her house manners. She has improved immensely with her toilet training, but because she became comfortable on hard surfaces, she still occasionally defaults to the patio. She just needs a patient human to keep that progress going! She also has a prey drive, but she’s already doing great learning the 'leave it' command.
Joanie is a clumsy, energetic, and fiercely loving goofball. She doesn’t just want to be in your life; she wants to be in your lap!
