Meet Frankie, a charming and delightful Dachshund who will undoubtedly capture your heart with his sweet nature. At 4 years old and weighing 11kg, Frankie is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and wormed, ensuring he's all ready to become a cherished member of your family.
Frankie is an affable fellow who enjoys the company of other dogs, but he does enjoy having his humans all to himself at home, so it’s the single life for him. His ideal environment is a home with a normal secure fence for safety and peace of mind and being an only child . While Frankie hasn't been tested with cats so he is better without the extra stimulation , he's shown a positive disposition towards older children, appreciating their easygoing energy and gentle play.
Currently located in the scenic Red Hill, Frankie is looking for a new home that values his gentle demeanor and zest for life. At an adoption fee of $895, this charming Dachshund comes with a wealth of love to offer.
If you're ready to enhance your life with the joys of having a furry companion like Frankie, he is eagerly waiting to start his new adventure with you.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee (per dog) . This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
