About Buck
Meet Buck! He's a big-hearted boy with an even bigger zest for life! This extremely boisterous boy is full of enthusiasm and loves being around people, always ready to greet you with lots of excitement (and lots of jumping). Buck is very playful, and may be okay living with a playful and tolerant desexed female dog, pending a successful meet and greet.
Buck would thrive in an active household with teenagers or adults who can match his energy, handle his size and strength, and continue his training. He already knows some basics and is highly food motivated, making him a great candidate for further learning and positive reinforcement training.
A secure yard is essential so he can safely burn off his energy and enjoy daily enrichment. With guidance, structure, and plenty of love, Buck has all the potential to grow into a fun, loyal, and rewarding companion.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
