About Lunar (66650)
Lunar arrived at GAWS as a very skinny, slightly scruffy stray who was never reclaimed. Since then, she's filled out beautifully and is now looking much more like the queen she clearly believes she is.
At this stage in life, Lunar is comfortable in her own skin - she knows what she likes, what she doesn't, and she's not overly interested in negotiating. She can be selective with other dogs and would much prefer a home where she doesn't have to share her throne. Lunar is seeking a peaceful retirement-style home where she can rule the castle as the one and only pet.
She may need a little guidance embracing the finer things in life - cosy beds, indoor lounging, and regular routines - but we suspect she'll adjust to luxury living quite quickly. Lunar will need to stay on a good-quality diet to maintain her healthy weight, and while she can pull on lead at times, she is making steady improvements with her manners.
She has no known history with children but may suit a home with older, respectful kids who understand that Her Highness appreciates her space.
If you're ready to open your home to a confident, independent lady who will graciously accept your devotion, Lunar is ready to reign
